Why I Started Inscape Wellness Psychiatry
I started Inscape Wellness Psychiatry because I saw a gap in how women’s mental health was being cared for.
Too often, women were expected to keep going—through stress, burnout, anxiety, and life transitions—without truly being seen or supported. Appointments felt rushed. Concerns were minimized. And care often focused on symptoms rather than the whole person.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and U.S. Army veteran, I’ve witnessed firsthand the strength women carry—but also the weight they hold silently.
I created Inscape Wellness Psychiatry to be different.
